The discrimination lawsuit against Activision Blizzard has reached a resolution with an agreement between the parties. Activision Blizzard will pay up to $46.75 million to female employees for unequal pay between 2015 and 2020, along with an additional $9.125 million for legal fees. The settlement also mandates measures to ensure fair pay and promotion practices within the company, pending court approval.

No systematic harassment was proven in the investigation. The California Civil Rights Department acknowledged no evidence of systematic or widespread sexual harassment and that Activision Blizzard's senior executives were not involved in a culture of harassment or discrimination.

Commenting on the agreement, a CRD spokesperson stated, 'If the court accepts this settlement, it represents a major step forward and will provide direct relief to Activision Blizzard employees.' Activision Blizzard expressed satisfaction with the agreement, recognizing the importance of the issues raised and committing to fully implement any new measures.

The CRD and Activision Blizzard's joint statement emphasized the historic nature of the $50 million settlement for women affected by the company's discriminatory practices.
