With Disney's decision to effectively reboot Daredevil, the highly anticipated series starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock has a new showrunner. According to THR, the new showrunner will be Dario Scardapane, who will lead a new writing team following the departure of writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman. Scardapane is a veteran of Marvel's Netflix series, having served as an executive producer on The Punisher. Scardapane comes on the heels of Disney's decision to reboot the series. Disney hopes Daredevil: Born Again can replicate the cult success of the Netflix series, which also starred Cox. The series will take place during Phase 5 of the MCU, which is currently in development. The release date has not yet been determined.
