Oxide Cloud Computer: Переосмысление облачных вычислений

Новости технологий

Public clouds do not always meet company goals. Oxide Computer aims to bring back the holism of early computing solutions, integrating hardware and software. The company's new platform, Cloud Computer, abandons traditional BIOS and UEFI firmware, using open STM32H753 and LP55S28 chips with Hubris OS. The platform, featuring 64-core AMD EPYC processors, promises easy deployment for private clouds with up to 2048 cores and 32 TB of memory per rack. OpenZFS is used for distributed block storage, ensuring data protection and encryption at all levels.
