Sony’s new PlayStation Portal, launching on November 15th, is a $199.99 device designed solely to stream games via Wi-Fi from your PlayStation 5. It does not support cloud streaming or local applications like YouTube or Netflix. The purpose of the Portal seems unclear, as it relies on a feature introduced in 2006 for the PS3 and PSP. After spending a few days with it, the need for its existence remains uncertain.
