In the cauldron of the latest rumors about the imminent announcement of the remaster of The Last of Us: Part 2 for PlayStation 5, new information has appeared. According to Hungarian tech journalist, Sony and Naughty Dog will release a native version of The Last of Us 2 for PS5 in early 2024.

Just so you know, The Last of Us Part II Remastered will be released in early 2024 (Sony sent an email with instructions for receiving a press copy). This applies to the PlayStation 5 version; nothing is known about the PC version yet.

Fans have long been asking for a native version of The Last of Us Part 2 to be released on PlayStation 5. Currently, players have to play the PS4 version of the game on Sony's console, albeit with improved performance. It is likely that the PC version will be released 3-6 months after the release of this remaster.
